We require a Head Taxation ( Direct & Indirect ) for FMCG co at Hosur, TN

Head - Taxation ( Direct & Indirect ) For FMCG Co at Hosur, TN

Roles and Responsibilities :

1.Should take ownership of both Direct and Indirect taxation functions, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

2. Ensure timely compliance with tax requirements, including Advance Tax Payments, Return filings, Tax Audit filings, Transfer Pricing reports, and other Direct Tax obligations.

3. Tax compliance - computations, deposit, returns & assessments, appeals.

4.Tax Deductions at Source (TDS) - deduction, deposit, returns & assessments & appeals.

5.Should provide expert guidance on tax law changes, TDS, Service Tax, GST matters, and explore opportunities to optimize the effective tax rate.

6. Lead and oversee Tax Audits, Transfer Pricing Audits, GST Audits, Corporate tax returns, Excise, and service tax audits.

7. Represent the company before Tax Authorities for Tax Assessment, appeals for both direct and indirect taxes, and develop effective appeal strategies for different forums.

8. Handle GST analysis and interpretation to ensure compliance with the Goods and Services Tax regulations.

9. Prepare periodic tax provisions and representations before statutory authorities to address organizational tax-related issues.

Profile Requisites :

• Extensive experience in handling both Direct and Indirect taxation functions.
• Proven track record in representing companies before various forums for appeals related to

direct and indirect taxes, devising effective strategies.

1.Qualification : Qualified Chartered Accountant CA / CMA

2.Experience : 10 to 15 years out of which 5 years should exclusively be in handling Taxation

vertical preferably from Food / FMCG / manufacturing Industries

3. Should have a track record of competent handling of complex tax matters.

4. Should be up-to-date on tax laws and rules and have an expert level understanding of relevant

tax laws and rules.

5.SAP Knowledge must with System proficiency .

Remuneration : Maximum gross up to 20 LPA .
