Legal Intern

About the Role : Udyog Sakha is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Law Intern to assist in legal drafting, research, and property-related documentation. This internship offers exposure to real estate law, industrial policy, and land documentation, providing an opportunity to understand how legal processes integrate with government departments such as HSIIDC, HSVP, and Town & Country Planning (DTCP), Haryana.

The role is ideal for candidates looking to strengthen their practical understanding of property law, contract enforcement, and documentation in industrial real estate transactions.

Key Responsibilities :

Legal Work

Conduct in-depth legal research to support ongoing litigation and case strategy.

Assist in drafting legal notices, petitions, replies, and affidavits.

Review and summarize judgments, orders, and precedents relevant to ongoing matters.

Maintain organized case files and assist in preparation of legal submissions.

Property Documentation (Industrial & Land Focus)

Draft and vet Agreements to Sell, Lease Deeds, Sale Deeds, MOUs, and GPAs.

Research and compile applicable policies, gazette notifications, and government orders issued by HSIIDC, HSVP, and DTCP.

Assist in liaisoning documentation — applications, follow-ups, and compliance records.

Perform data entry, maintain property documentation databases, and coordinate filing systems.

Laws & Policy Framework Exposure :

Interns will gain working familiarity with :

The Indian Contract Act, 1872

The Specific Relief Act, 1963

The Transfer of Property Act, 1882

The Registration Act, 1908

The Indian Stamp Act, 1899

Relevant State-level Industrial & Urban Development Policies, including HSIIDC, HSVP, and DTCP circulars, gazettes, and directions.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

Currently pursuing or completed LL.B. (3-year or 5-year) course.

Excellent drafting and research skills are essential.

Must be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple assignments.

Strong interest in property law, documentation, and regulatory compliance.

Internship Details :

Timings : 10 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM (Monday to Saturday)

Mode : In-office

Location : Plot No. 351, Pace City II, Sector 37, Gurugram

Remuneration : ₹10,000 / month
