About the Role
We’re hiring an Oracle EBS Technical Consultant to build and support RICE components across Supply Chain, Finance, and Manufacturing. This is a remote, client-facing role with regular stakeholder interactions, UAT support, and hypercare in late-afternoon / evening IST.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support RICEW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions / Personalizations, Workflows).
- Build / maintain XML Publisher reports (including bursting ) and legacy Reports 6i / 10g .
- Develop high-quality PL / SQL : packages, procedures, functions, APIs, triggers; optimize queries and handle data fixes.
- Create and support Interfaces & Conversions (e.g., supplier / customer loads; barcodes; pre-printed stationery; on-hand, item / BOM / WIP transactions).
- Configure and customize OAF personalizations and Workflow where required.
- Manage ticket queues (incidents, problems, change requests); participate in CRP / UAT, cutover, and hypercare ; assist with month-end support.
- Collaborate closely with business users and client SMEs; translate requirements into technical specs; create MD70 / tech design docs and deployment guides.
- Follow SDLC, version control, and release / change processes; create alerts / monitoring for failed concurrent requests.
- Optional / Nice to have : familiarity with FBDI templates (for hybrid EBS / Cloud landscapes), shell scripting, external tables, barcode printing.
Required Qualifications
5–9 years in Oracle EBS (11i / R12) technical development / support with strong PL / SQL .Hands-on with XML Publisher (bursting) , Reports 6i / 10g, interfaces / conversions, API-based integrations.Exposure to OAF personalizations and Workflow ; solid understanding of P2P, O2C, Finance (AP / AR / GL), WMS, WIP / BOM .Experience running UAT , cutovers, and hypercare; comfortable with data fixes and performance tuning.Excellent spoken / written English; confident in client-facing discussions and demos.Good to Have
Experience with FBDI data loads, external tables, shell scripting, concurrent program tuning.Familiarity with ticketing tools (Jira / ServiceNow), Git / SVN, and onshore–offshore collaboration.Knowledge of Oracle Cloud integrations (OIC / REST) is a plus.Work Setup
Location : Remote (India).Hours : 1 : 00–10 : 00 PM or 2 : 00–11 : 00 PM IST (client overlap).Engagement : Full-time; occasional extended hours during cutover / month-end.
