Job Role - Salesforce QA Automation Engineer

Job Location - Hyderabad, Telangana

Job Description : -

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to support various types of testing (e.g., regression, performance, load, security). Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify and prioritize test cases for automation. Use the internally established automation estimation techniques to provide accurate estimations for implementation and maintenance of the automation suite. Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and deployment pipeline to facilitate continuous testing. Analyze test results, identify issues and trends, and provide detailed reports on test execution and defects. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that automated tests are aligned with business requirements and application features. Maintain and enhance the automation test environment, ensuring its reliability and scalability. Stay up-to-date with the latest automation testing tools, techniques, and best practices. Provide guidance and support to manual QA engineers in transitioning to automated testing. Follow the established automation-specific and general QA best practices and contribute to the improvement of QA processes and the overall QA strategy. Use internal collaborative tools including AllAi to gather and learn information about the tools, technologies, and testing methods necessary for everyday work.

Requirements

Competencies

Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or in a similar role with a strong background in test automation.

Hands-on experience with automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestComplete, JUnit, TestNG, Robot Framework).

Familiarity with programming languages commonly used in test automation (e.g., Java, Python, C#). Automation skills on Playwright or similar tool (JavaScript).

3y+ experience on Salesforce Core projects (CPQ, FSC, Revenue, Automotive, Health, Service).

Familiar with DevOps work and CI / CD. Good work ethics.

Able to work independently.

Be able to do both automation and manual testing activities (depending on the program allocated).

Skill Set

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.

Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive automated test scripts.

Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI / CD) tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
