JOB PROFILE FOR OFFICE ASSISTANT

Job Profile : Office Assistant for Media Publishing Company

Position : Office Assistant

Location : PANAJI / MARGAO

Company : GOA PRISM DIGITAL MEDIA

Department : Media Publishing

Reports To : THE FOUNDER

Job Summary :

As an Office Assistant at GOA PRISM DIGITAL MEDIA, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the media publishing team. Your role will encompass a variety of tasks, including media management, public relations support, graphic designing, and posting on websites using WordPress platform. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities and contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the department.

Key Responsibilities :

Administrative Support :

Schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.

Handle correspondence, emails, and phone calls.

Prepare and process documents, reports, and presentations.

Media Management :

Maintain media contact lists and databases.

Monitor media coverage and compile reports.

Support the development and execution of media campaigns.

Public Relations Support :

Maintain and update the company’s media kit.

Foster relationships with media contacts and influencers.

Graphic Designing :

Create and edit graphics for marketing materials, social media, and websites.

Collaborate with the design team to develop visual content.

Ensure all graphic designs adhere to brand guidelines.

WordPress Management :

Publish blog posts, articles, and multimedia content.

Optimize website content for SEO.

Qualifications : Education :

  • High school diploma or equivalent;

a degree in Media Studies, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field is preferred.

Experience :

Previous experience in an administrative role.

Experience in media, PR, graphic design, and website management.

Proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Photoshop, Coreldraw, Canvas etc.).

Skills :

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Familiarity with WordPress platform

Knowledge of media and public relations practices.

Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.

Personal Attributes :

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving skills.

High level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Enthusiastic and proactive approach to tasks.

Working Conditions : Full-time position.

Office environment with occasional remote work flexibility.

May require occasional evening or weekend work for events or deadlines.
