Senior Analyst - Patent Drafting

What you will be doing at Evalueserve as Patent drafting

Patent Application Drafting (for filing in US, EP and / or India) – Understanding invention disclosures related to various technical domains determining novelty of invention based on comparison with known prior art, conducting inventor interviews, drafting patent application (including claims, detailed description, drawings), reviewing patent application drafted by team members, and mentoring team members for drafting patent application.

What we’re looking for Patent Drafting

Excellent written and verbal communication (in English) with particular ability in creative and persuasive writing.

Prior experience of drafting patent applications and independent client management is preferred.

Prior experience of conducting patent search (understanding invention disclosures and conducting a prior-art search to identify key prior-arts and preparing the search reports) would be a plus.

Prior experience / knowledge of latest technologies like deep learning, cloud computing, machine learning, blockchain, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, 5G and beyond 5G technologies, etc. would be an added advantage.

Excellent knowledge of IP laws of various countries, various patent databases, technical domains with respect to educational background .

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio

Any certifications of additional courses or trainings (in Intellectual Property or otherwise) would be a plus

Professionals with M.Tech / B.Tech (Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Signal Processing, Semiconductor Manufacturing / Fabrication, VLSI, ) with 3 to 6 years of relevant experience are eligible.

Strong analytical skills with thorough understanding of the technology domain.

Excellent comprehension and presentation skills.

Responsible attitude and ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.

Well-developed interpersonal and active listening skills.
