Role Summary :
The Data Entry Assistant will be responsible for accurately uploading and maintaining hotel and holiday content on our travel platform. The role requires attention to detail, speed, and good communication skills to ensure all travel products are correctly listed and updated for seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Upload and update detailed information of hotels, resorts, and holiday packages on the company’s booking platform.
- Ensure accuracy of data related to room availability, pricing, images, amenities, and descriptions.
- Verify and cross-check data provided by suppliers / tour operators for correctness and completeness.
- Coordinate with operations and supplier teams to gather missing content or resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain the product database, regularly auditing for outdated or incorrect content.
- Assist in bulk data migration projects and content integration using Excel, CSV files, or booking engine tools.
- Support content standardization and formatting guidelines to maintain platform consistency.
- Generate reports on data status and issues for management review.
- Adhere to data confidentiality and company compliance standards.
Requirements :
Proven experience as a data entry operator or similar role, preferably in travel or hospitality.Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data handling.Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and basic database tools.Ability to work with large volumes of data efficiently.Good communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams.Basic understanding of travel industry terminology is a plus.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Graduate or equivalent; higher education in business or IT is a plus.Reporting :
Reports to the Content Manager or Operations Manager.
