AWS Cloud Engineer (Kubernetes & EKS) Remote

2 PM to 11 PM IST

6 Months Contract (Possible Extension)

A global IT services and consulting organisation is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer with a strong background in Kubernetes and Amazon EKS to support a large-scale digital platform initiative. This organisation specialises in data, AI, and digital transformation, offering solutions such as AI / ML implementations, data platforms, and modernisation advisory to SMEs, large enterprises, and public-sector organisations.

You will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing cloud infrastructure in a high-availability, microservices-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support and maintain an existing microservices-based web platform hosted on AWS.

Provision and configure AWS infrastructure using Terraform.

Build, stabilise, and optimise EKS clusters, including autoscaling and performance tuning.

Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities across EKS and related services.

Enhance infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting in line with operational standards.

Troubleshoot infrastructure and DevOps issues affecting digital application teams.

Integrate AWS infrastructure with other platform tools and systems as required.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on skills with AWS, DevOps, Kubernetes, EKS, and Terraform.

Solid understanding of CI / CD, cloud security, monitoring tools, and container orchestration.
