Devops Engineer

Job Title : Technical Lead – DevOps (with SonarQube & DevSecOps Expertise)

Location : Hyderabad

Job Summary :

We are looking for a Technical Lead – DevOps with strong expertise in DevSecOps and SonarQube

administration to lead automation, cloud infrastructure, and CI / CD excellence. The ideal candidate

will provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and mentorship to a team of Senior DevOps

Engineers, ensuring high availability, quality, security, and efficiency across all DevOps practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, and Automation.

Proven experience leading and mentoring DevOps / Platform Engineering teams.

Hands-on expertise with SonarQube administration, upgrades, rule management,

and CI / CD integration.

Strong understanding of static code analysis, OWASP / SAST scanning, and

remediation practices.

Expertise in AWS services (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, VPC, RDS, S3, IAM, etc.).

Strong experience with GitHub, Bitbucket, and CI / CD pipeline migrations (GitHub

Actions, Harness, etc.).

Hands-on experience with Terraform (IaC), Kubernetes (EKS / ECS / K8s).

Proficiency in scripting / automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

Experience managing SonarQube with PostgreSQL / Oracle / MySQL databases.

Deep understanding of DevSecOps best practices and security compliance.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities :

Leadership & Strategy

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the DevOps team, guiding DevOps,

SonarQube, and Agile best practices.

Drive the vision, strategy, and execution of DevOps, CI / CD, automation, and code

quality governance using SonarQube.

Collaborate with Platform Engineering, Application, Security, and Applicaion

Developers teams to optimize the software delivery lifecycle and enforce coding

standards.

Own and improve DevSecOps adoption, ensuring security and quality gates are

embedded in pipelines.

Cloud Infrastructure & Automation

Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure AWS infrastructure.

Work on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform to standardize and

automate cloud resources.

Optimize CI / CD pipelines ensuring high efficiency, security, and compliance.

Integrate and manage SonarQube within CI / CD pipelines for continuous code

quality and security scanning.

SonarQube Administration & Code Quality

Manage SonarQube installation, upgrades, configuration, and administration.

Define and enforce quality gates, rule sets, and coding standards across multiple

projects.

Integrate SonarQube with CI / CD tools (GitHub Actions, Harness, Bitbucket, Jenkins,

etc.) for automated analysis and reporting.

Support multiple programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript / TypeScript, C#,

etc.) and ensure code quality compliance.

Manage and optimize databases (PostgreSQL / Oracle / MySQL) used by SonarQube

for performance, security, and scalability.

Collaborate with development teams to review findings and drive remediation of

OWASP / SAST vulnerabilities.

DevSecOps, CICD & Optimization

Lead and manage CI / CD migrations (preferably into Harness), ensuring seamless

transitions and performance optimization.

Continuously assess and improve DevSecOps tooling, quality scanning, and

vulnerability management practices.

Preferred Qualifications :

Certifications in CKA and AWS (DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect, etc.).

Background in software development with understanding of microservices and

cloud-native architectures.
