Remote Senior Accountant – U.S. Accounting

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with strong accounting fundamentals to join our Miami-based accounting and taxation firm. This individual will be responsible for managing full-cycle accounting for multiple U.S. clients, including maintaining year-round books, performing cleanup work, and preparing annual financial statements. The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of hands-on experience in accounting, a solid understanding of financial statement preparation, and the ability to finalize books accurately for tax purposes. This role requires strong attention to detail, timely execution, and clear communication with clients to ensure all books and records remain accurate, compliant, and ready for annual tax filings.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage accounting records for multiple U.S. clients.
• Prepare annual financial statements and ensure timely completion.
• Perform book cleanup, corrections, and catch-up accounting where required.
• Finalize books and ensure all accounts are accurate and tax-ready.
• Collaborate with the tax team and support annual tax filings by providing complete, error-free financials.
• Communicate professionally with U.S. clients regarding queries, clarifications, and status updates.
• Ensure compliance with standard accounting principles and internal quality-control procedures.
