Job Title : SAP Basis Administrator (Contract – Remote, US Working Hours)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator for a remote contract position . This role requires working US business hours (night shift) and supporting the stability, performance, and security of our SAP landscape. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a fast-paced technical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (S / 4HANA, ECC, BW, Solution Manager, etc.).
• Perform daily system health checks and monitor performance across SAP environments.
• Manage transport requests and ensure the smooth movement of changes across DEV / QA / PROD.
• Handle SAP user administration, roles, profiles, and authorization troubleshooting.
• Administer SAP databases (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server) including performance tuning and monitoring.
• Execute system upgrades, kernel patches, support package installations, and system refreshes.
• Troubleshoot system errors, short dumps, logs, and performance bottlenecks.
• Manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery operations.
• Collaborate with development, functional, and infrastructure teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support cloud-hosted SAP systems (AWS, Azure, GCP) if required.
