Asst Manager Direct Taxation

Objective of the role : The purpose of this role is to executing tax planning processes, documentation and compliance work.

Position / Designation : Asst Manager Direct Taxation

Location : Santacruz, Mumbai

Qualification Required : CA

Roles & Responsibilities :

 Tax Compliance & Filing : Ensure timely and accurate filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR), Tax Deducted at

Source (TDS), and Advance Tax payments as per statutory requirements.

 Tax Planning & Advisory : Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies for real estate transactions,

capital gains, and corporate tax optimization while ensuring compliance with tax laws.

 Assessment & Litigation : Handle tax assessments, appeals, and litigation matters with tax authorities,

coordinating with legal and tax consultants for dispute resolution.

 Transaction Structuring : Provide tax guidance on real estate transactions, Joint Development

Agreements (JDAs), land acquisitions, and leasing arrangements to optimize tax impact.

 Audit & Regulatory Compliance : Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for tax audits, ensure

compliance with changing tax laws (like amendments in the Income Tax Act), and manage

documentation for scrutiny.
