Job Description :

This position is for a Principal / Senior Consultant (Oracle Database) for the Oracle Customer Success Services team. The team’s main responsibility is to work on Oracle DB 12c / 18 / 19c Installation, Upgrade, Configuration, Migration & Performance tuning with Hands-on experience working on Exadata Machines and spanning across database areas including Real Application Clusters, High Availability, Data Guard, Corruption, Backup and Recovery, RMAN, ZDLRA, Performance, Memory Management, Parallel query, Query tuning, Storage, ASM, Golden Gate, Replication, Security, Networking, Enterprise Manager etc.

Responsibilities :

The main role of a Principal / Senior Consultant (Database) is to work on migration projects with experience in troubleshooting highly complex technical problems (Oracle Database & Exadata) requiring a high level of technical expertise.

Required Qualification :

• more than 8 years of work experience in Oracle DB 12c / 18 / 19c Installation, Upgrade, Configuration, Migration & Performance tuning.
• Good knowledge of Exadata, Exadata Cloud, and OCI architectures.
• Extensive hands-on interaction with large Database management systems.
• Real Application Cluster (RAC) & ASM / Storage areas.
• Database architecture knowledge and administration. Experience with cloud technologies from different vendors.
• Backup and Recovery, RMAN, Dataguard, knowledge of various restore and recovery scenarios.
• Performance Tuning, Parallel query, Query tuning.
• Experience in Golden Gate, Database Security & Replication.
• Technical degree, i.e., BE / B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA / M.Sc. in Computer Science / Management Information Systems / Engineering.
