The RoleWe are seeking an ambitious Techno-Commercial Manager to take ownership of our RFP (Request for Proposal) processes, lead our internal analysis team in Vadodara and develop a program of lead generation using AI tools.This is a high-visibility role. You will report directly to C-level executives in the US, acting as their "right hand" for business development operations. You will combine engineering logic with marketing strategy to win government and commercial contracts, while using AI tools to modernize our lead generation.Key Responsibilities1. RFP & Bid Management (The Core)- End-to-End Ownership : Lead the entire lifecycle of RFP / RFQ responses for US-based projects. Ensure 100% compliance and on-time submission for complex government and commercial bids.- Technical Storytelling : Translate technical data provided by engineers into compelling, persuasive business proposals. You must be able to "speak engineer" and "write business."- Asset Library : Build and maintain a repository of standard proposal responses, case studies, and technical specs to improve efficiency.2. Team Leadership & Operations (The Manager)- Manage the Analysis Team : Supervise the day-to-day operations of the internal analysis team based in Vadodara.- Quality Assurance : Review the output of the analysis team (energy models, financial projections) to ensure accuracy before it reaches US leadership.- Mentorship : Train junior analysts and ensure the team remains motivated and productive.3. AI-Driven Growth & Lead Gen (The Innovator)- AI Implementation : Actively use Generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to research US market trends, competitor analysis, and regulatory changes in the energy sector.- Prospecting : Orchestrate lead generation campaigns by identifying key decision-makers in target organizations and crafting personalized outreach strategies.4. Executive Reporting- Serve as the primary point of contact between the India operations team and US leadership.- Prepare weekly status reports and participate in strategy calls (requires evening availability for US time zone overlap).Candidate ProfileEducation & Background : - Bachelor’s Degree in STEM, Philosophy or Economics with good understanding of Electricity / energy- MBA or PGDM in Marketing, Operations, or International Business is highly desirable.- 3–5 years of experience in Bid Management, Sales Proposal development, Technical Sales, or Business Development within the Engineering / SaaS / Cleantech sector.Skills & Competencies : - Exceptional Communication : Native-level proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
