Job Overview

We are hiring a Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Python, SQL, REST APIs, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. The candidate will work onsite at the client’s location.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and scale backend systems using Python.
• Implement efficient algorithms and data structures to improve system performance.
• Design and manage SQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.
• Build secure, efficient, and well-documented RESTful APIs for internal and external use.
• Work with Google APIs and leverage GCP services for compute, storage, and database operations.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and stakeholders to meet requirements.
• Maintain code quality through best practices, documentation, and code reviews.
• Identify, debug, and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for backend systems and processes.
