Role Overview :
We are seeking a seasoned Sales professional with strong international exposure in steel scrap selling across different geographies. The ideal candidate must possess deep market knowledge, strong industry connections, and a proven track record in high-volume scrap sales.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and implement effective sales strategies for steel scrap.
Identify, engage, and manage relationships with buyers.
Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and closing of deals.
Track market trends, competitor movements, and price fluctuations.
Coordinate logistics, shipments, and all related documentation.
Maintain strong relationships with steel mills and key stakeholders.
Prepare monthly sales reports, forecasts, and market insights.
Ensure compliance with company policies, local laws, and environmental norms.
Collaborate with internal teams for invoicing, payments, and contract management.
Required Skills & Experience :
10+ years of experience in sales / marketing of steel scrap or metal scrap.
Strong understanding of pricing, global markets, and steel mills.
Proven experience managing high-volume scrap transactions.
Result-oriented with track record.
Strong product knowledge and domain expertise.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and deliver strong business results.
Strong analytical skills and understanding of market dynamics.
Fluency in Bengali (mandatory) and proficiency in English.
Education :
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Additional Requirements :
Willingness to relocate and travel extensively.
Strong network among industrial buyers in SAARC countries.
