How You’ll Spend Your Time :

• Reviewing small & Medium and Managing preparation of Complex Non-profit organization like 990 & 990-T Tax Returns and understand the Main form 990, its reporting structure and should have basic knowledge of 990 respective schedules.
• Reviewing the 12 sections of Form 990's main form.
• Reviewing deadlines, extensions and penalties pertaining to Form 990 and the purpose of the 16 schedules associated with Form 990.
• Reviewing the Implications to Form 990 from the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
• Manage end-to-end tax compliance. Responsible for completing all assigned tasks accurately and within the defined processing time frame.
• Reviewing the Form 990 complexity like Importance of non‐profit sector, Purpose of Form 990, Who must file, Form 990 series, Organizations not required to file, accounting periods, Deadline and extensions, Penalties for failure to file.
• Reviewing the Implications for Tax‐Exempt Organization & Calculation of Unrelated Business Income Tax (UBIT).
• Reviewing 990 Main forms and 16 schedules and Common errors.
• Reviewing the Audit Financials like Income statement and Balance sheet. Reviewing the accountable of work and Be 100% Responsible of leading and managing engagements.
• Achieving target billing and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently within the budgeted time and cost.
• Actively lead projects through proper delegation and direction of work among other project team members.
• Guide the team in understanding various 990 Main Form and its respective schedules and conduct training & brainstorming knowledge sessions.
• Guiding and developing Junior Staff members.
• Should be Leading and managing engagements independently
• Coaching / developing junior members on the concepts of 990 tax compliance.
• Ability to review 990, screening the financials, identifying missing open items, asking relevant tax information and documentation to provide accurate information.
