🔵 Position Overview
IAER is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to lead our digital presence across all major platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, creating, executing, and optimizing social media strategies that strengthen IAER’s brand, enhance student engagement, and support admissions and outreach activities.
🔹 Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Social Media Strategy & Planning
- Build and implement a robust social media strategy aligned with IAER’s branding and marketing goals.
- Develop monthly & quarterly content plans targeted toward students, parents, and industry stakeholders.
- Plan social media campaigns for admissions, events, achievements, campus activities, and festivals.
2. Content Calendar & Publishing
Create and manage a structured monthly content calendar.Coordinate with the design, content, and video teams to ensure timely delivery.Publish daily content across platforms : Instagram, Facebook, , YouTube, Twitter (X), GMB, and WhatsApp Channels.3. Content Supervision & Quality Control
Review creatives, videos, and captions before publishing.Ensure all content maintains brand consistency, quality, and messaging.Suggest new content formats, reels ideas, and visual concepts.4. Social Media Platform Management
Grow IAER’s digital presence across all major social channels.Maintain updated profiles, highlights, playlists, and pinned posts.Ensure proper branding and positioning across digital touchpoints.5. Community Management (ORM)
Manage comments, messages, queries, and student interactions.Monitor online discussions, reviews, and mentions of IAER.Engage with users to build trust, visibility, and positive sentiment.6. Analytics & Reporting
Track KPIs : engagement rate, reach, impressions, follower growth, and content performance.Create weekly and monthly analytical reports for management.Analyze data and recommend performance improvements.7. Campaign & Ad Collaboration
Support the Ads Specialist with campaign ideas, creatives, and target audience insights.Track performance of social media campaigns and optimize for better results.Participate in influencer and micro-influencer collaborations when required.8. Team Coordination & Leadership
Collaborate with the content writer, graphic designer, videographer / editor, SEO team, and web team.Lead brainstorming sessions for creative content, reels, and video-based storytelling.Ensure workflow efficiency and timely content execution.9. Brand Building & Creative Direction
Strengthen IAER’s online brand identity.Suggest new storytelling formats for campus life, student achievements, placements, and faculty highlights.Identify opportunities to create viral or high-engagement content.10. Departmental Coordination
Work with academic departments, placement cell, and admission team to gather content and updates.Promote events, workshops, seminars, and student success stories.11. Competitor & Trend Analysis
Monitor competitor colleges and their digital marketing strategies.Stay updated with ongoing social media trends, reel formats, sounds, and platform updates.🔹 Required Skills & Expertise
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager (preferably in education or branding).Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube & algorithm and engagement strategies.Excellent communication and copywriting abilities.Familiarity with tools like Meta Business Suite, Creator Studio, Buffer, Hootsuite, etc.Basic knowledge of design and video editing concepts for better coordination with creative teams.Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and reporting skills.Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to think like the student audience.🔹 Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field.2–4 years of experience in social media management preferred.Experience in the education sector is an added advantage.
