POSITION SUMMARY
The Sr. Manager – Global HR Ops & Payroll will lead end-to-end global HR Operations, Payroll, and Global HR Initiatives. This position is responsible for HR systems governance, HR analytics, global payroll operations (US, Canada, EMEA), compliance, budgeting, and driving operational excellence. The role requires strong stakeholder management, process governance, data accuracy, and the ability to harmonize HR processes globally.
Key Responsibilities
Global HR Operations & Shared Services
- Coordinate global HR initiatives and programs with CHRO & regional teams to implement standardized practices, enhance employee experience, and ensure consistent execution across geographies
- Collaborate with CHRO for HR budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with Finance and regional HRBPs for compensation, benefits and other expenses.
- Work with CHRO and regional HR leads on base merit file inputs while ensuring process timelines and accuracy. Post merit increases update HRIS and payroll inputs as applicable.
- Develop knowledge bases for key HR Processes, templates, and SOPs to drive standardization and operational efficiency through automation and reporting
- Support HR policy rollout, governance, and compliance tracking across countries in coordination with Regional HRBPs
- Coach and mentor team member for assigned responsibilities and ensure professional growth by sharing knowledge.
Global Payroll Management
Ensure accurate and error free end to end payroll processing, administer employee benefits (pensions, medical insurance, leaves) across US, Canada, and EMEA or any other applicable country.Ensure compliance with regional labor laws, tax & Audit requirements, handle state tax notices.Prepare monthly payroll calendar and SOPs for timely completion of all payroll activities.Conduct monthly reconciliation exercise with finance for ensuring total cash outflow in payroll.HR Systems, Data Management & Analytics
Ensure data accuracy, governance, and alignment across global systems.Generate HR dashboards and analytics reports on workforce metrics, attrition, KPIs, headcount, etc.Prepare organizational reports such as org charts, census reports, and monthly HR analytics dashboards.Collaborate with regional HR teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness of global HR reporting.Ensure rollout and adherence for the defined time-off policy and benefitsStakeholder Collaboration & Governance
Partner with HRBPs, Compliance, and Finance teams globally to ensure seamless operations.Conduct regular sync meetings to resolve escalations, align on priorities, and ensure process consistency.Drive continuous improvements and harmonization of global HR & Payroll Operations with respect to organization process and Audit requirement like (SOC 1&2, GDPR, Data Security or applicable External & Internal Audit requirements)Maintain updated vendor database and active contracts for current services & periodically evaluate quality and cost of services for operational efficiency.Ability to adhere to internal company policy and procedures.Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field;MBA preferred.
10+ yrs of experience in Global HR Operations, global payroll (US / Canada / EMEA) is essential.DESIRED BEHAVIORS
