We are hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer to build and scale high-performance web applications and AI-driven features for a fast-growing product company in the e-commerce and retail technology space. This role involves full ownership of engineering modules, leading design discussions, and integrating machine learning capabilities into production systems.

What You Will Do

Build and scale applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).

Design systems capable of handling high traffic and complex workloads.

Integrate machine learning models into production workflows.

Drive engineering standards, code reviews, and mentor mid-level developers.

Collaborate with product, data, QA, and design teams to ship production-ready features quickly.

What We Are Looking For

7+ years of hands-on development experience.

0-to-1 product building experience — real ownership, real build-from-scratch work.

Deep expertise in MERN stack and microservice architecture.

Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, WebSockets, and serverless design

Experience in building or scaling e-commerce or high-traffic consumer technology features.

Exposure to AI / ML integration (models, microservices, inference pipelines).

Nice-to-Have

Familiarity with search engine technologies (Elasticsearch, Solr)

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Knowledge of real-time analytics and event streaming (Kafka, Kinesis)

UI / UX appreciation and polished front-end craftsmanship
