Position Title : Placement Officer

Location : Durgapur, West Bengal

Experience : 7-10 years

Role Purpose :

To support the CDC&CO Head in enabling successful internship and placement opportunities for students by coordinating employer engagement, facilitating student preparedness, and ensuring smooth execution of placement-related activities. The Placement Officer acts as a critical link between students, academic departments, and recruiters, working towards maximizing employability and internship outcomes aligned with institutional goals and market trends.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Employer Engagement & Relationship Management-
• Assist in building and maintaining ongoing relationships with industry partners, corporate recruiters, and alumni networks to facilitate placements and internships.
• Coordinate campus drives, recruitment events, internship fairs, and employer visits to enhance institutional visibility and recruiter Connect.
• Act as a primary contact point for recruiters during placement activity phases;

ensure clear communication and smooth coordination.

ensure timely dissemination of placement notifications and updates.

Eligibility and Qualifications :

a postgraduate degree or diploma in career counselling, HR, or related field is desirable.
