Program Manager - Geo Analytics

Location : New Delhi, India; Mumbai, India; Bengaluru, India

World Resources Institute (WRI) India is seeking a Geospatial manager to join WRI Indias Ross Centre for Sustainable Cities GeoAnalytics team. The Program Manager will lead data analysis and technical research to support urban infrastructure development decisions while ensuring sustainability and informed growth.

Key Responsibilities :

• Co-ordinate and partner with teams across sectors for project needs assessment and execution
• Mentor the analytics team on geospatial analyses and spatial modeling
• Conduct data exploration and provide customized analytical solutions for projects
• Assist in developing Python and Google Earth Engine scripts for data processing
• Contribute to written outputs including articles, working papers, and blog posts
• Provide technical support for data organization and modeling
• Collaborate with project teams to assess and utilize complex data assets
• Qualifications :
• Masters degree in relevant field (e.g., Geography, Earth Sciences)
• 7 years of experience in the Geospatial industry
• Proficiency in GIS software (ESRI ArcGIS, Quantum GIS, etc.)
• Strong coding skills (Python, R, JavaScript)
• Knowledge of Google Earth Engine is preferable
• Experience with spatial analysis and modeling tools
• Familiarity with business modeling tools (Tableau, PowerBI)
• Understanding of predictive modeling and forecasting techniques
• Salary Range : INR 15,00,000 to INR 18,00,000 CTC
