Job Title : QA Engineer (Automation Testing)

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Engineer with expertise in both manual and automation testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing practices combining manual testing techniques with automated test frameworks. You will work closely with developers product managers and other stakeholders to identify test requirements and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manual Testing :
• Perform functional regression integration and user acceptance testing (UAT) on web and mobile applications.
• Create detailed comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases based on business requirements.
• Identify document and track bugs through the defect management lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand software requirements and create test strategies.
• Automation Testing :
• Design develop and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium Cypress or similar frameworks.
• Identify areas for automation in existing manual test cases.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and scripts.
• Collaboration :
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (developers designers product managers) to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in agile ceremonies like sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives to provide input on test progress.
• Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used.
• Continuous Improvement :
• Stay updated with industry trends and the latest QA tools and technologies.
• Identify opportunities for improving the testing process and contribute to the continuous improvement of QA standards.
