The Government and public sector transactions services is part of EY's Government & Public Sector (GPS) Services which is a network of highly skilled professionals from assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services, devoted to serving the government and public sector organizations and institutions.

The practice combines private sector leading practice with an understanding of the public sector's diverse needs, focused on delivering improved public services. Government and public sector transactions services, sits under EY's Transaction Advisory Services practice, a market-leading, multi-disciplinary team, working with leading businesses across a range of industries. This practice is in a unique position to deliver implementable strategies given the firm's sector depth, transaction perspectives, and operational insights.

The practice provides experience working with various sectors such as, Transport, Social & Health care, Education, Urban & Infrastructure, Economic Development Advisory , Water waste & Sanitation, Power & Utilities and Public Finance & Management.

SaT - TCF - Infrastructure Advisory :

Strategy and Transactions enables clients to reimagine ecosystems, reshape portfolios and reinvent for a better future. We help corporates, private equity, governments, sovereign wealth funds, private and family businesses, and educational institutions with their key financial issues. Skills And Attributes

To qualify for the role you must have

Qualification

Post graduate in planning

Bachelors in planning, Architecture

Experience

Over 3 years of hands-on experience in the e-Mobility sector, with a focus on EV charging infrastructure planning, demand assessment, and project structuring—covering both public and fleet-based charging networks.

Proven ability to develop and manage advanced financial models in Excel to assess project viability, tariff structures, CAPEX–OPEX optimization, and risk–return scenarios for large-scale EV infrastructure projects.

Demonstrated experience in supporting consulting assignments through technical assessments, policy and regulatory analysis, and preparation of detailed reports and client deliverables—ensuring high-quality outputs aligned with client objectives.
