Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to architect, develop, and optimize a large-scale, real-time data streaming platform hosted on AWS. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise across AWS services, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI / CD, containerisation, and monitoring tools. You will play a key role in enabling scalable and secure cloud infrastructure while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Build : Architect, build, and maintain a scalable real-time data streaming platform on AWS.

AWS Expertise : Work extensively with AWS services essential for stream processing and serverless computing (Lambda, S3, IAM, VPC, NLB, RDS, MemoryDB, CloudWatch, DNS, etc.).

Performance Monitoring : Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize streaming platform performance.

Cross-Team Collaboration : Partner with data teams to onboard and support various data products.

Version Control : Manage and maintain Git repositories following best practices.

IaC : Use Terraform to manage and provision infrastructure efficiently.

CI / CD : Build automated CI / CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

Security Compliance : Implement security best practices using tools like Snyk, Sonar Cloud, and Code Scene.

✅ Mandatory Skill Sets

Strong proficiency in AWS Services (IAM, Lambda, VPC, Networking, RDS, MemoryDB, CloudWatch, Security Groups, DNS, NLBs, Directory Services, Certificate Management, etc.)

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS) —Imperative / Declarative, Pods, Helm, IRSA, ArgoCD, etc.

Expertise in Datadog for monitoring and dashboard creation.

Strong experience with Docker , containerisation, and image creation.

Programming expertise in Python and Go .

Solid understanding of Git and version control workflows.

Advanced experience in Terraform (IaC) .

CI / CD experience using GitHub Actions .

Knowledge of security tools : Snyk, Sonar Cloud, Code Scene .

⭐ Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with Apache Kafka (producers & consumers).

Familiarity with unit testing for Kafka pipelines.

Experience with Splunk integration for logs and monitoring.

Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) .

Preferred Qualifications

AWS certifications (AWS DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect).

Previous work experience in Agile environments .
