Role Summary We are looking for a Dev Ops Engineer with strong knowledge of Git Hub, Docker, UNIX scripting, Python (Fast API), and VMware. The candidate will be responsible for automating build, deployment, and environment management workflows. Exposure to Nutanix or Hyper-V is a plus. The ideal candidate embraces an AI-first development mindset, using AI code assistants and automation tools efficiently to deliver faster, cleaner, and more consistent outcomes without relying on vibe coding.

Key Responsibilities Build and maintain CI / CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions. Manage Docker environments, ensuring secure image management and container runtime practices. Automate system operations and deployment tasks using UNIX shell scripting. Develop and maintain automation tools and internal APIs using Python (Fast API). Administer VMware infrastructure and virtual networks. Collaborate with developers to streamline deployment and monitoring. Integrate AI code assistants in daily workflow to optimize productivity and maintain code quality. Participate in discussions with US-based team when required.

Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with Git Hub ecosystem (repos, actions, workflows). Proficient with Docker, Docker Compose, and container security best practices. Excellent UNIX / Linux shell scripting skills. Strong programming experience with Python (Fast API preferred). Familiarity with CI / CD, infrastructure automation, and configuration management. Good understanding of VMware environments and networking fundamentals. Experience using AI code assistants (Git Hub Copilot, Claude Code and similar) as part of development workflow.

Good to Have Experience with Nutanix or Hyper-V. Exposure to network security or compliance automation products.

Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Clear written and verbal communication. Ability to work independently across time zones.
