Summary
The Review Manager at Epiq is responsible for managing day-to-day delivery of managed document review projects for corporations, financial institutions, law firms, and other clients. The role requires a strong understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and hands-on experience with Relativity and other review technologies to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost-effective delivery. The Review Manager supports multiple review projects, manages review teams, assists with client communication, and collaborates closely with Senior Review Managers and department leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage assigned document review projects at Epiq’s Hyderabad review center, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Support client communication by participating in project calls, providing updates, and responding to day-to-day client requests.
- Assist in project design meetings and implement approved workflows within review platforms. Draft and maintain project workflows, review protocols, training materials, and quality control guidelines.
- Utilize Relativity functionalities, including analytics, email threading, and basic TAR workflows, to support efficient review processes.
- Perform quality control using defined QC protocols, searches, and sampling techniques.
- Track reviewer productivity, project metrics, and progress; assist in preparing project status reports and dashboards.
- Lead and guide review teams, including onboarding reviewers, providing feedback, and addressing performance or workflow issues.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Project Management, Hosting, and Technology teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Escalate risks, issues, or scope changes to senior management as appropriate.
Qualifications
LLB (three- or five-year program); LLM is an advantage but not mandatory.5–7 years of experience in document review and eDiscovery, with at least 1–2 years in a project management or Manager role.Strong working knowledge of Relativity, including workspace navigation, searches, review workflows, and analytics (RCA preferred but not mandatory).Solid understanding of the EDRM and document review lifecycle, including review and production of ESI.Familiarity with AI-assisted review tools such as TAR and email threading.Experience managing review teams and supporting reviewer performance and quality.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to participate in client calls and internal meetings.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with attention to detail.Flexibility to work in different shifts based on project and client requirements.
