Key Responsibilities

Google Cloud Engineering

Design, implement, and manage large-scale cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform .
Ensure cloud environments follow best practices for security , operations , and networking .
Automate deployment, configuration, and resource management across GCP services.

Data Engineering & Modeling

Build and optimize data pipelines , ETL / ELT processes , and DBT models .

Ensure performance, cost efficiency, data quality, and reliability in all data transformations.

Implement Python-based data ingestion pipelines.

DataOps, SRE & Platform Engineering Responsibilities

Develop automation to improve platform reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Maintain end-to-end monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.

Conduct root cause analysis , troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure high availability.

Support cloud operations and participate in on-call rotations when required.

DevOps Integration

Implement CI / CD processes for data pipelines and cloud workflows.

Drive infrastructure-as-code and automation-first practices.

Improve cloud deployment reliability and reduce manual operational tasks.

Networking & Security

Collaborate on secure, scalable networking solutions within the cloud environment.

Apply best practices for identity, access, compliance, and cloud governance.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .

Expertise in DBT , Python , and SQL for data transformation, ingestion, and analytics.

Solid understanding of cloud networking , security , and operational constraints .

Experience with ETL / ELT pipelines , data modeling, and performance optimization.

Background in DataOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or DevOps.

Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution skills.

Familiarity with monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability tooling.

Ability to work independently with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
