Creative Design Director

Pepper (https : / / www.Pepper.Inc / ) is building a global content marketplace that brings companies and content creators together to scale up content creation processes across 75+ content verticals and 150+ content categories. Over the past 5 years, over 100,000+ freelance content creators have applied to be part of the Pepper network of which we work with the top 5% of talent, and on the other end - we work with over 2500+ customers like Amazon, Adobe, Google, HDFC Bank, Adani, and the majority of the startup ecosystem.

As a Senior Art Director , you will be responsible for overseeing the quality of all design deliverables within the organization. Your role involves implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes for design projects, providing constructive feedback to designers, and ensuring that the designs align with client goals, brand guidelines, and industry best practices. You will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the design output, ensuring its consistency and effectiveness across digital and print platforms.

Note : This is an on-site role in Mumbai (remote applications will not be processed)

Job Responsibilities :

• Oversee design quality : Ensure that all design projects – including logos, branding, digital ads, social media graphics, website UI / UX designs, and print materials – meet the highest quality standards and client specifications.
• Collaborate with clients : Work closely with clients to understand their design requirements and objectives. Provide guidance on design strategies to ensure their brand vision is effectively captured.
• Quality assurance : Review and approve design outputs to ensure they meet the required quality, consistency, and brand guidelines.
• Team leadership : Lead and mentor a team of designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Guide the team in refining design concepts and solving creative challenges.
• Strategic oversight : Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop design strategies that align with client business objectives and enhance their brand presence.
• Process improvement : Continuously evaluate and improve the design process, from concept to delivery, ensuring efficiency, innovation, and high-quality outputs.
• Client communication : Manage client expectations regarding design timelines, revisions, and approvals, ensuring satisfaction with the final design deliverables.
