Role Description

Emerge Legal is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Associate to join its team in Gurugram. As a Litigation Associate, you will be responsible for conducting legal research, preparing motions and other court documents, and assisting with depositions and court proceedings. You will support contract-related litigation, provide strategic legal advice, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services to clients. This is a full-time, on-site position in Gurugram.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in law, including understanding and applying legal principles and regulations.

Proficiency in conducting legal research, preparing legal memoranda, and analyzing case law.

Experience in preparing motions and engaging in legal drafting.

Knowledge and experience in handling depositions and court proceedings.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) or equivalent;

admission to the Bar Council of India is required.

Prior experience in litigation or contract-related legal services is preferred.

Ability to collaborate effectively with a team and manage multiple projects.
