SAP FICO + Treasury Architect

Role Overview We are seeking a highly experienced SAP FICO + Treasury Architect to lead the design, implementation, integration, and optimisation of Financial Accounting, Controlling, and Treasury solutions within SAP. The candidate will act as the primary finance technology adviser for business stakeholders, ensuring that SAP financial systems support strategic and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end solution architecture for SAP FICO and Treasury modules across complex global implementations.

Work closely with finance leadership to understand business processes and translate them into optimised SAP system solutions.

Design and configure SAP Treasury modules , including :

Cash & Liquidity Management

Bank Account Management

In-House Cash

Treasury Risk Management

Cash Forecasting

Own architecture of SAP FICO components , including :

General Ledger (New GL)

Asset Accounting

Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

Cost Center & Profit Center Accounting

Product Costing & COPA (desired)

Lead integration between Treasury , FICO , SAP Bank Communication Management , S / 4HANA , and external banking interfaces (SWIFT / EBICS / Host-to-Host).

Provide strategic guidance for S / 4HANA migration or system modernization initiatives.

Oversee solution documentation, testing strategy, UAT support, and deployment readiness.

Mentor and guide functional consultants, offshore teams, and business analysts.

Ensure governance, security controls, and adherence to SAP best practices .

Required Skills & Qualifications 10–12+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO with strong exposure to Treasury Management .

Minimum 2–3 full life cycle SAP implementations in FICO and Treasury.

Strong understanding of accounting principles , financial processes, and corporate treasury operations.

Experience in SAP Bank Communication Management , payment interfaces , and market data integration .

Knowledge of S / 4HANA Finance (Greenfield / Brownfield experience preferred).

Ability to communicate with CXO-level stakeholders and lead design workshops.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

SAP Certification in FICO / Treasury is a plus.

Preferred Experience Exposure to SAP Central Finance .

Knowledge of Taxation , IFRS / GAAP compliance .

Experience working with global shared service environments .

Familiarity with Treasury Workstations , banking APIs, and cash pooling solutions.
