Job Summary :

The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. The role involves cost estimation, preparation of BOQs, tendering, contract administration, cost control, and ensuring that project costs are within budget while maintaining quality and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and cost plans based on drawings and specifications.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare rate analyses for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Participate in tendering processes — preparation, submission, and evaluation of bids.
• Manage contract documents including variations, claims, and progress payments.
• Monitor project budgets , control expenses, and provide regular cost reports to management.
• Evaluate and certify contractor bills and ensure accuracy in payment recommendations.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, and site teams for cost-related matters.
• Support in value engineering to achieve cost efficiency without compromising quality.
• Maintain records of all project financial transactions and documentation .
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, industry standards, and company policies .
