Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager – Digital Banking with strong domain expertise across Retail Banking and Commercial Banking (Trade Finance, Cash Management, Commercial Lending).
The ideal candidate will be a product specialist who understands end-to-end banking processes, can drive product strategy, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital banking capabilities for global clients.
You will play a critical role in shaping the product roadmap, driving feature innovation, engaging with customers, and ensuring successful product rollouts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital retail and commercial banking.
- Identify market trends, regulatory requirements, and competition insights to guide product evolution.
- Prioritize features based on customer value, feasibility, and business impact.
2. Requirements & Design
Translate market and client needs into detailed product requirements, epics, and user stories.Work closely with UX teams to design intuitive, user-centric digital journeys.Conduct gap analysis between client needs and product offerings.3. Cross-Functional Leadership
Collaborate with engineering, QA, implementation, and business teams for seamless delivery.Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release governance.Act as a functional SME during development and implementation cycles.4. Client & Market Engagement
Engage directly with global banking clients to understand requirements and gather feedback.Support RFPs, client demos, capability presentations, and POCs.Partner with delivery teams to resolve functional issues during UAT and go-live stages.5. Domain Expertise
Provide deep product expertise across :
Digital Retail Banking : Accounts, payments, onboarding, servicing6. Product Governance & Documentation
Own and maintain BRDs, FSDs, feature guides, and release notes.Define and track product metrics related to adoption, performance, and client usage.Required Skills & Competencies
Functional & Technical Skills
Strong understanding of Digital Banking platforms and workflows.Hands-on experience with retail and commercial banking products.Expertise in Trade Finance, Cash Management, Lending, Payments, and Customer Journeys.Experience in Agile / Scrum and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and optionally Figma.Soft Skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to influence decision-making across senior stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.Customer-first mindset with a focus on usability and adoption.Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree preferred.Certifications Preferred
