Job descriptionBuild and maintain strong supplier partnerships; conduct periodic performance evaluations. Champion localization, alternate sourcing, and supplier consolidation for improved cost, quality, and delivery. Conduct supplier audits, compliance evaluations, and risk assessments. Drive cost reduction through VA / VE, strategic negotiations, and TOC-based bottleneck identification. Benchmark pricing, analyze total cost of ownership, and identify improvement levers. Establish long-term rate contracts, MOUs, and framework agreements. Work closely with R&D, Quality, Planning, and Production to ensure TOC-based alignment of supply with product and project goals. Support NPI (New Product Introduction), design-to-cost, and localization projects. Interface between suppliers and technical teams for design feasibility and DFQ (Design for Quality) support. Ensure adherence to procurement policies, compliance, and standardized documentation. Apply TOC principles to identify constraints in the sourcing and supplier ecosystem, and lead initiatives to elevate system performance. Monitor commodity trends, material indices, and proactively mitigate supply chain risks. Leverage ERP (SAP) and analytics tools for procurement planning and B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering. MBA in Supply Chain / Operations is 8-15 years of sourcing / procurement experience in electric pumps and consumer durable product categories. Strong understanding of supplier ecosystems, product specs, and commodity trends. Deep commercial acumen with proven negotiation and cost management capabilities. Experience or understanding of TOC (Theory of Constraints) methodology and its application in sourcing and supply chain. Proficient in SAP and advanced data analysis tools. Strong stakeholder management, cross-functional coordination, and leadership skills.
Job Summary :
We are seeking a seasoned sourcing professional with a proven track record in managing procurement, supplier development, and cost optimization for electric pumps and consumer durable components. This role will drive strategic sourcing initiatives, develop supplier networks, and ensure alignment with R&D and manufacturing to support efficient and cost-effective product delivery. Experience or familiarity with the Theory of Constraints (TOC) methodology is highly desirable.

- Lead end-to-end sourcing of electric pumps, motors, controllers, and home appliance components.
- Develop and implement category strategies aligned with organizational and TOC principles.
- Identify, assess, and onboard domestic and global suppliers ensuring capability, quality, and competitiveness.
