Sr Software Eng Manager

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Sr Software Eng Manager to lead our product development initiatives at Sparta Systems. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for defining technology roadmaps, overseeing product design and development, and ensuring successful delivery of our Smart Energy solutions. You will also play a key role in talent development and fostering innovation within a high-caliber engineering team.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Define and execute the technology roadmap strategy for Smart Energy product development.
• Provide expert guidance in product design, development, and security throughout all phases of the SDLC.
• Lead and manage a portfolio of product development teams, ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Drive the innovation of new products and revenue streams through collaboration with customers, sales, and offering management.
• Take responsibility for talent development and retention, with a focus on upskilling and strategic hiring in new technologies (e.g., Data Analytics, Full-stack, Cloud, Dockers, Containerization).
• Oversee extensive SaaS / On-Prem software design, architectural, and development activities, guiding the incubation and scaling of SaaS offerings.
• Ensure seamless execution with Agile and DevSecOps practices, leveraging world-class development tools.
• Manage internal and external stakeholder alignment through clear articulation of strategy and vision.
