Designation : Direct & Indirect Tax Manager
Experience : 3-5 years in GST & TDS
Qualification : CA Inter / B.Com / M.Com / equivalent
Location : Kochi

Key Responsibilities :

Manage end-to-end GST compliance across multiple state registrations.

Handle high volume GST transactions with accuracy and timely compliance.

Prepare and file monthly and annual GST returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C.

Manage monthly ITC reconciliation (2A / 2B vs books) and resolve vendor mismatches.

Handle GST notices, audits, assessments, and litigation independently.

Ensure correct TDS deductions, deposits, and periodic return filings.

Handling GST exemptions, RCM, refunds, and documentation.

Review large-volume transactions, HSN / SAC mappings.

Maintain ITC registers, sales registers, and GST documentation as per statutory requirements.

Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants for smooth operations.

Take full ownership of GST and TDS compliance and stay informed on amendments in GST, TDS, and Indirect Tax laws.

Skill Requirements :

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in GST & TDS compliance.

Strong practical knowledge of GST Act and TDS provisions.

Ability to analyse high-volume data and perform detailed reconciliations.

Experience drafting replies for notices, assessments, and audits.

Proficiency in Excel and accounting / tax software.

Corporate experience in a similar setup is preferred (experience other than articleship will be considered).

Strong communication and documentation skills.

GST practitioner Certification preferable.

Must be fluent in English & Malayalam.
