Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL jobs and data integration workflows using Talend Studio .
- Extract data from multiple sources including relational databases, flat files, XML, and APIs.
- Transform and cleanse data to meet business and quality standards.
- Load data into target systems such as data warehouses, data lakes, and reporting databases.
- Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimize ETL jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Monitor ETL processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes or enhancements.
- Maintain documentation for ETL processes, data mappings, and technical specifications.
- Ensure adherence to data governance and security policies.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
Qualifications and Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.2+ years of experience working as a Talend Developer or ETL Developer.Strong hands-on experience with Talend Open Studio or Talend Enterprise Edition.Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.).Good understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and data modeling.Experience with handling different data formats like CSV, JSON, XML.Familiarity with scripting languages (Shell, Python) is a plus.Knowledge of performance tuning and debugging in Talend.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Desirable Skills :
Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, Google Cloud Dataflow) alongside Talend.Understanding of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark is advantageous.Knowledge of data governance, data quality tools, and metadata management.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.Talend certification is a plus.Skills Required
