Role Description :

We are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join the Forecasting team.

You will be responsible for supporting our Outbound orders forecasting, data validations, modelling, and communicating with Operations & Merchant-facing leadership for forecasting and capacity decisions.

The broader team is also responsible for communicating and presenting our outbound and inbound forecasts to Operations leadership and monitoring merchant volume daily.

You will help expand the scope of ShipBobs forecasting program and provide coverage to a growing list of sites across different time zones.

You will be responsible for providing accurate data-informed insights, decision making, and data input estimates for all operational functions to aid in FC planning.

This role reports to Manager, Supply Chain Forecasting.

What Youll Do :

• Daily and weekly standard management in Excel, PowerBI, Salesforce, Merchant integrated WMS platforms, Outbound forecasting updates, and other mechanisms for Outbound order flow planning.
• Present regular forecasting updates to supply chain leadership, communicating key merchant volume deviations and risk mitigation measures to ensure the top merchants and all sites have sustainable Outbound plan that supports growth.
• Work directly with the Forecasting management team to support alerts to Operations and Merchant teams and providing strategic recommendations for seamless solutions to ensure no barrier to continued merchant growth within the growing FC network.
• Liaise with the Fulfillment Center Operations and external Merchant teams on Outbound orders, promotions, sales, and inventory-impacts on forecast and provide accurate current-state and future forecast numbers to supply chain leadership.
• Track new merchants and their projected outbound shipments tied to potential large influxes of orders.
• Use data informed reports and analyses to identify process failure / common issues within all forecasting, support tasks.
• Provide support in running and maintaining the Outbound forecasting model and supporting other Supply Chain Forecasting models or duties as needed.
• Share knowledge with other teams, partner sites and management on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as necessary.
