Overview :
Join Shell Olympus as a Lead Controls and Automation Engineer, driving automation and control systems for advanced industrial operations. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing automation solutions to ensure reliability, efficiency, and safety across complex processes.
Key Responsibilities
System Design & Development :
Architect and implement control systems, PLC programming, and automation frameworks.
Develop and maintain SCADA / HMI interfaces for real-time monitoring and control.
Integration & Optimization :
Integrate automation solutions with existing infrastructure and ensure seamless operation.
Optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Project Leadership :
Lead technical teams through project lifecycle—planning, execution, and delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, safety) to align solutions with business goals.
Compliance & Standards :
Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and Shell’s internal guidelines.
Maintain documentation and promote best practices in automation and controls.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering (or equivalent experience).
Proven expertise in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial automation.
Strong knowledge of control systems design, instrumentation, and process optimization.
Familiarity with safety systems and regulatory compliance.
Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms for automation and data integration.
Preferred Skills
Experience with advanced automation technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
Knowledge of networking protocols, cybersecurity for industrial systems, and IoT integration.
Leadership experience in managing technical teams and complex projects.
This position will pay ₹25-₹35 LPA depending on level of experience
