Hypervisor Validation Engineer

Solid understanding of hypervisors, virtual machines (VMs), and core concepts like CPU, memory, and I / O allocation. Basic operating systems (especially Linux), hardware basics, and fundamental programming and scripting knowledge (like Python).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills are essential

Basic knowledge of operating systems like Windows and Linux is necessary, as they will be installed and tested on VMs.

Familiarity with modern computer hardware, including nested virtualization support (HVT), is crucial for testing hypervisor functionality.

Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Python, is vital for automation and test script development.

A foundational understanding of basic networking and storage concepts as they relate to VM environments is helpful.

Knowledge of the Software Test Life Cycle (STLC) and development methodologies like Agile is important for structured testing.

Good communication and attention to detail to effectively report and track issues
