Qualifications
B.Sc. (Horticulture / Agriculture) or equivalent.
05 years’ in related field, including Govt. / External Aided Project.
Preference will be given to experience working with private sector in similar kind of project.
Responsibilities
- Baseline survey of clusters, identification of beneficiaries to assure the irrigation and other necessary facilities.
- Identify the beneficiaries’ requirement for the infrastructure development related to water, solar fencing (through convergence), farm machinery required and suitable proposals to be prepared and sent for procurement.
- Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats analysis of clusters.
- Sensitization and Identification of suitable market driven crop (Crop already identified) and its variety feasible as per geographical and agro-climatic conditions of clusters as SHEP approach.
- Identification of beneficiaries for every cluster based on the norms prescribed by the project authorities.
- Preparation of Annual Action Plan for the clusters.
- Prepare monthly plans, reports, field notes, thought papers and other documents.
- Preparation of Road map to ensure the availability of high- quality planting material of selected crop.
- Preparation of Package and practices for nursery management and crop management and aggregation of quality marketable surplus of selected crops.
- Preparation of training modules for end-to-end value chain for the crops.
- Preparation of information / report / road map etc. as per directions of District Implementation Unit & Project Management Unit.
- Coordination with PMU / PMC.
- Execution of prepared annual action plan in clusters of districts.
Any other work assigned by authorities of project.
