Your area of work :

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) area is at the heart of the Information Technology division of Deutsche Börse Group. The CTO area develops and operates the group-wide IT infrastructure (network, data centers and Cloud), the Group Data & Advanced Analytics and the Enterprise Architecture, and therefore significantly contributes to Deutsche Börse Group overall IT strategy. The CTO area drives digital transformation and leverages innovation while keeping production operations stable.

Within the CTO Area, the Cloud / Core Infrastructure department enables the usage of public cloud services from Microsoft and Google and provides core infrastructure services such as data center management and non-trading network operations. The department develops and maintains cloud platforms for GCP and Azure, which allows the other IT departments (Product ITs) to make use of cloud in a safe and efficient manner.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated Software engineer Cloud CoE (f / m / d) to take responsibility in an interesting and dynamic, international environment. As an Automation Specialist within the Cloud CoE, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing and maintaining automation that is essential to increasing the security, availability, usability and performance of our platforms which are fundamental to our development community all within a highly regulated capital markets environment.

Your responsibilities :

Work in a team of cloud automation engineers distributed over multiple locations

Architect, evolve and maintain DBG public cloud platform automation for GCP and Azure

Develop observability of our cloud platforms from an availability, security, and performance aspect

Support the different product teams within DBG with deep technical know-how in their cloud onboarding efforts

Share your knowledge and expertise within DBG

Work closely with other team members, IT departments, and cloud service providers to develop complex concepts

Your profile :

University degree related to Information Technology, Cyber Security, or other technical degree

5 years of hands-on experience with GCP or Azure (incl. relevant certifications) with focus on :

Serverless compute (FaaS, Event-Driven Architecture)

Cloud-Native Database Services

Strong hands-on experience in Python

scripting language . ( Additionally

PowerShell, bash scripting and software engineering skills are added advantage.

Good experience in agile working practices (Scrum, Kanban etc.)

Strong hands-on experience in Infrastructure-as-Code tools with Terraform and Packer, Ansible are added advantage.

Any exposure to AI / ML Frameworks and Platforms, AIOPS, Prompt and Context Engineering will be a plus

Proficiency in written and spoken English (at least level B1)

Hands on experience in different API’s. API management is added advantage.
