Software Engineering Manager

Responsibilities :

• Lead and mentor a high-performing agile team comprising Senior Developers, Developers, Product Owners, Quality Assurance Engineers, and DevOps / Infrastructure Engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
• Drive the end-to-end application development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of product increments and successful execution of business initiatives within the Data and Analytics domain.
• Architect, design, and oversee the implementation of robust, scalable, and secure backend and full-stack enterprise solutions utilizing Python, Django, and Flask frameworks.
• Ensure the application of best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, security, and maintainability through regular code reviews and technical guidance.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners to translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable development plans.
• Manage project priorities, allocate resources effectively based on team bandwidth, and ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables. Champion cloud-native development practices, leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (e.g., Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Pub / Sub, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine) to build resilient and efficient applications.
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tooling, and team efficiency.
