Lead Data Engineer – Azure Cloud

We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Engineer to build and manage a robust data platform on Azure Cloud. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ensure data quality, and leverage cloud technologies for efficient data processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Event Hubs.
• Design and implement ETL / ELT workflows for data transformation and storage in Data Lake / Synapse Analytics.
• Create efficient data models and ensure best practices for storage and retrieval.
• Implement data validation, monitoring, and troubleshooting for pipeline reliability.
• Collaborate with architects and analysts; document workflows and processes.
• Optimize Azure resources for performance and cost; ensure security and governance compliance.

Qualifications

Good to Have : Azure Purview, Delta Lake, CI / CD (Azure DevOps / Terraform), Power BI.
