Senior Accountant – US Accounting (Remote)

Job Summary :

A leading global services firm is looking to hire a Senior Accountant with deep expertise in US GAAP and hands-on experience managing accounting operations for US-based entities. The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of overall experience in accounting, including at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity, and 3+ years specifically handling US accounting standards and reporting. This is a remote role with opportunities to lead a distributed team and work closely with senior stakeholders across geographies.

Location : Remote (Work-from-home full-time)

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations for US-based clients / entities, including monthly / quarterly / annual closing under US GAAP
• Lead and supervise a team of accountants; manage work allocation, performance reviews, and training
• Review and finalize financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activities
• Ensure compliance with US accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
• Prepare, review, and analyze P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
• Coordinate with tax consultants, auditors, and cross-functional teams for timely filings and audits
• Support system implementations and automation initiatives to improve accounting efficiency
• Provide insights and analysis to support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes

Experience and Skillset Required :

Working Schedule : Monday to Friday, flexible hours with overlap to US time zones as needed

Salary : Competitive and based on experience.
