About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Application Support Engineer to provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, manage integrations, and ensure smooth functioning of critical applications. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in an evening shift and collaborating with both local and international stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Provide L1 / L2 technical support to internal teams and external clients.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
Assist with system integrations and environment configurations.
Create, maintain, and update technical documentation and SOPs.
Perform root-cause analysis and escalate issues when required.
Deliver periodic and customized training to teams across the business.
Support release activities, maintenance plans, and upgrade schedules.
Coordinate with global teams for issue resolution and process alignment.
Develop analytical and operational reports as required.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience with SQL Server and Azure Fundamentals , including writing and managing complex queries.
Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming (C#, .NET preferred).
Good understanding of Linux and Windows servers and system administration.
Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket .
Familiarity with APIs and Web Services (REST / SOAP), using Postman .
Experience in banking / finance / treasury systems (lending, billing, treasury operations) and ServiceNow ticketing tool
Good to Have
Knowledge of Java (optional but beneficial).
Experience working in product-based environments or global teams.
