Job Description – Personal Assistant to Managing Director (MD)
Location : Chennai
Experience : 3 – 5 Years
Salary : ₹50,000 – ₹60,000 per month
Requirement : Hindi language must; candidate must be willing to travel with MD, including outstation travel
Role Overview
The Personal Assistant to the Managing Director will serve as a key support resource, ensuring smooth coordination of daily executive activities, travel schedules, meetings, and confidential business communication. The role demands high levels of discipline, discretion, efficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while representing the MD with utmost professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the MD’s calendar, schedule appointments, meetings, and screen communication requests effectively.
Coordinate travel itineraries, hotel bookings, logistics, and accompany the MD for business meetings and outstation visits as required.
Prepare reports, presentations, business correspondence, and maintain confidential documents with accuracy and discretion.
Liaise with internal teams, clients, vendors, and stakeholders on behalf of the MD to ensure smooth communication and timely follow-ups.
Record meeting minutes, action items, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Organize and manage files, documents, and digital records for easy retrieval and documentation.
Prioritize tasks based on urgency and support MD in strategic planning and decision-making activities.
Handle personal errands and administrative responsibilities as assigned by the MD.
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or any related field.
Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar role supporting senior leadership.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), email drafting, and digital communication tools.
Strong command over Hindi and English (spoken and written).
Ability and willingness to travel extensively along with the MD.
