This Position reports to :

Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking / design for excellence concepts in projects.

You will be mainly accountable for : Responsible for on-site robot debugging (including robot system commission, functional program module writing, process debugging and problem handling).Manage and monitor project during whole execution period until get FAC.

Achieving process parameters, body quality & line cycle time for BiW lines including Spot welding, Sealant / dispensing, Roller hemming, Material handling & basic vision application.

Ability to read electrical & mechanical drawings, vision system measurement and maintenance, and be able to complete a new model introduction robot simulation independently.

Familiar with mechanical principles, electrical components, and circuit diagrams. Manage supplier resources (robot programmers) to deliver line buy-off KPIs.

Qualifications for the role B.E. or Diploma in Paint Technology, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum of 8–10 years of experience in industrial automation.

Strong hands-on experience with Kawasaki robots and solid working knowledge of ABB robots.

Proficient in robot programming, simulation, and integration—including tools like K-ROSET, RobotStudio, and RCS.

Skilled in engineering and design software such as Process Simulate, AutoCAD, CATIA, and SolidWorks.

Exposure to BiW lines in OEMs and Tier 1 environments, with experience in applications like spot welding, MIG welding, sealing, and roller hemming.

Familiarity with industrial network protocols including DeviceNet, Ethernet, and Profinet, along with electrical troubleshooting in robot-based automation cells.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a customer-focused mindset and ability to collaborate across teams.

Self-starter and team player, willing to travel and continuously learn new technologies and working methods
