To manage industrial relations, ensure statutory compliance, maintain harmonious labor relations at project sites, and oversee administrative operations to support smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Industrial Relations (IR)
Maintain healthy relations between management, workers, unions, and contractors.
Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution at site.
Facilitate negotiations with labor unions and worker representatives.
Monitor worker behavior, attendance, productivity, and adherence to site rules.
Ensure proper documentation of warnings, notices, and incident reports.
Prevent and manage labor unrest, strikes, or disputes.
2. Statutory Compliance
Ensure compliance with labor laws such as CLRA, BOCW, Minimum Wages, PF, ESI, Gratuity, etc.
Coordinate registration and renewal of site-related licenses.
Maintain statutory registers and ensure contractor compliance.
Liaise with government / labor department officials during inspections.
Verify contractors' statutory records (wage sheets, PF / ESI challans, muster rolls).
3. Site Administration
Manage site facilities : accommodation, transport, housekeeping, canteen, safety gear issuance.
Oversee security arrangements and visitor management.
Maintain administrative records, logs, and reports.
Manage office supplies, logistics, and asset inventory at the site.
Coordinate travel and accommodation for staff and visitors.
4. Workforce Management
Assist in mobilization and demobilization of labor.
Support recruitment and onboarding of site-level staff and workers.
Maintain updated manpower reports and labor deployment records.
Conduct briefings on site rules, discipline, and welfare facilities.
5. Employee Welfare
Ensure timely wage payments and address wage-related issues.
Coordinate welfare activities such as medical check-ups, safety training, and camp hygiene.
Ensure proper implementation of health, safety, and welfare standards as per BOCW norms.

Qualification & Experience
Bachelor's degree , Labor Welfare, or related field.
Minimum years of experience in IR / Admin roles, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of local labor rules and engagement practices.
