Role : Manager - Estimation

Location : Bommasandra, Bangalore

Qualification : DME / BE Mechanical Engineering

Experience : Min 15 yrs. experience in manufacturing and cost estimation of automotive and non-automotive parts

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Should be conversant in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Should have hands-on experience at least in turning and milling and exposure to other machining processes, machines, material grades and cutting tools & jig & fixture concepts and practices.
• Should be able to estimate cycle times considering optimum machining parameters and processes.
• Should have exposure to casting & forging processes, heat treatment and other special processes.
• Should be familiar with Lean manufacturing concepts and practices.
• Should have communication skills to interact independently with customers, able to compile technical reviews / presentation for RFQs, propose alternatives for cost effective manufacturing, support marketing team in technical / commercial discussions with customers.
• Should have working knowledge in AutoCAD and 3D modelling.
